The First Meeting

Hi Everybody! How's life?

We are new as an English Club and will describe more about us in this site.

Firstly, let us introduce ourselves.

Our English club is named PBCC which means Putera Batam Chunky Club.

Putera Batam is our University which is as a home for our English Club.

Chunky, we are sure that most of you will ask what we mean by using Chunky as our club's name.

Well, don't read with the meaning! but let's read from where we got the inspiration to use it as our club's name.

At the first meeting, we of course discussed how this club will run. before we run it, certain we should think what the name is, the purpose, and the organisation structure.

The name of Chunky we got from a name of a delicious chocolate, it's Chunky Bar from Silver Queen.

As our agreement, we agree to make a decision to put chunky as our club's name :)

There were 12 students attended our first meeting.

The organisation structure is:

- as a leader is Belly Sabda Rahayu

- as a vice leader is Oky Saputra

- as a secretary is Nofi Nurhidayah

- as a treasures is Esther Uli Cahaya

- as a Public Relations Coordinator is Sartika Gultom,

  with her members are Santiana Limbong and Listra S.

5. Common frequently used English Vocabulary by Native Speaker

6. Inspect Lyric, magazine, comic, novel.

7. English Slang.

8. English Debate.

9. English Touring.

10. English Practice with native speaker.

11. Volunteer.

This club is held every Saturday at 17.00 - 18.30 WIB
